Good News Letter

June 24, 2007

This is the seventh of a series of Good News Letters about progress on building of our new church.

Matthew 18:19
Jesus said: Again I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.

If we pray as one for the success of our church then, it will be so.

We made a list of things we must do to build our church, so I thought it time to share that list

Hire a Civil Engineer -

to prepare the site development plan. Until the County approves a site development plan, the will not issue any building plans.

Hire a General Contractor -

We have not given up on securing a general contractor to coordnate our many contractor needs

A. Plumbing

The church building will need plumbing hookup and connections. The building only comes with rough plumbing.

B. Electrical

The church building will require wiring to a power panel as well as running the wiring to a meter head. The church building only comes with rough wiring and will have no wiring terminations.

C. Piping

The County water line must be run across 491 and piping must be run along side the County retention pond upto the church building. We also must install a County fire hydrant somewhere along the way.

D. Septic Tank

Install a septic tank, drain field, and then do a septic hookup to the church building.

E. Paving

The driveway will need to be paved and a concrete sidewalk is needed from the parking lot up to the church entrance.

F. Site Prep Contractor

A site contractor will need to prepare the site for the church building according to the site development plan and if needed dig a drainage pond for water runoff.

We now have a sign on the property proclaiming it to be the future site of the Real Life Christian Church. Click here to see pics.

Two picinic tables were built for us at the direction of Earl Roix and place on the property. The area is shady and has been cleared. So now we can have cooler summer outings there. Click here to see pics.
